1. Introduction
This Privacy Policy explains how Elite PMU League (“we”, “the organiser”) collects, uses, stores and protects the personal data of visitors to the website elitepmuleague.com, of ticket purchasers and of participants in our events.
All processing is carried out in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (the General Data Protection Regulation – GDPR), Greek Law 4624/2019 and the applicable legal framework in force.

3. What data we collect
a) Data you provide to us
- Ticket purchase / entry registration: full name, email address, telephone number, billing address, country, participation category and — where an invoice is requested — company name, VAT number (ΑΦΜ), tax office and business address.
- Contact form: full name, email address, telephone number and the content of your message.
- Newsletter subscription: email address and, optionally, your name.
- Collaboration enquiries (organiser, speaker, judge, sponsors): contact details and any professional information you send us.
b) Data collected automatically
- IP address, device type, browser and operating system.
- Pages visited, duration of visit, referring page.
- Data from cookies and similar technologies (see section 8 and the Cookie Policy).
c) Payment data
Card payments are processed exclusively by our payment service provider Viva.com (Viva Payments) in a secure environment. We do not collect, process or store card numbers, CVV codes or any other payment credentials. We receive only the confirmation of the transaction and the billing details required to issue your receipt or invoice.

5. Recipients of your data
We do not sell your data and we do not make it available to third parties for their own commercial purposes. Your data may be disclosed to:
- Our payment service provider (Viva.com), in order to process the transaction.
- Our hosting and technical support providers for the website.
- Our email / newsletter service provider, in order to send communications.
- Our accountants and the tax authorities, in the context of our legal obligations.
- Event partners (for example the venue or administrative support staff), strictly to the extent required to deliver the event.
- Public authorities, where required by law.
All of the above act as processors and are bound by data processing agreements pursuant to Article 28 GDPR.
6. Transfers outside the EEA
Certain providers (for example email marketing, analytics or social media services) may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where this occurs, the transfer is carried out with appropriate safeguards in place, such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses or an adequacy decision.
7. Retention periods
- Order and invoicing data: for as long as tax legislation requires (a minimum of five years, or ten years where applicable).
- Event participation data: up to two years after the end of the event, for organisational and record-keeping purposes.
- Contact form messages: up to two years from our last communication.
- Newsletter: until you withdraw your consent (you can unsubscribe via the link in every email).
- Cookies: for the durations set out in the Cookie Policy.
8. Cookies
The website uses strictly necessary cookies in order to function (including for the WooCommerce cart and checkout) and, subject to your consent, statistics and marketing cookies. 9. Embedded content and third-party links
The website may contain embedded content (videos, images, Instagram feeds) or links to third-party websites. Visiting those websites is governed by their own privacy policies, for which we accept no responsibility.

We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including SSL/TLS encryption, controlled access to our systems, regular software updates and backups. No method of transmission or storage is entirely secure; we are nevertheless committed to taking every reasonable protective measure.

13. Minors
Our website and events are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect data from persons under 18 years of age. Should such data come to our attention, it will be deleted immediately.

We reserve the right to amend this Privacy Policy. Each new version is published on this page with an updated date. We recommend that you review it periodically.
